“The Simplicity Of Salvation”

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16 NKJV

Have you ever felt that you can’t shake the sins and shame from your past?  Beloved, we all struggled with this. By receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, He wipes your slate clean.

The context part of the scripture breaks down the verse:

God so loved the world: God’s love is not restricted to any one nation or to any spiritual elite. The world includes all of creation.

Remember, God’s love is not restricted; He loves me, and I know He loves you too!

Before I was saved, I didn’t understand how people could be slain in the “Holy Spirit". I remembered when I was nineteen years old, I decided to go to the Altar. I wanted to see for myself to experience the power of God. As I was surrendering, having my hands lifted in the air. The next thing I remember, the Pastor placed his hand over my forehead. Instantly, I fell backwards and was slain in the spirit. I felt a peace come over me. The pain of my past left me. I then received Jesus Christ, and in return, He gave me a feeling of freedom. You, too, can experience joy, freedom, and forgiveness of sins. Join me in the following prayer:

I offer this salvation prayer to you:

Lord Jesus,

I believe You died for my sins and rose again to give me life.

I turn from my old ways and receive You as my Savior and Lord.

Thank you for forgiving me and making me new.

Amen.

God has compassion towards us. The following scripture demonstrates God’s love for us all.

“He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea”. Micah 7:19 NKJV.

One definition of the word iniquity is a wicked act or thing: sin. Sin is an offense against religious or moral law.

We all fall short when it comes to sin. However, we shouldn’t let ourselves believe we are not worthy of his compassion. The forgiveness of our sins will be cast in the very depths of the sea. Salvation is not as hard as you think. After saying the prayer, I believe that you are born again. I pray at this very moment, and your future will be filled with lots of peace, love, and freedom.
